Tonight Owain took his very first bath with Mr.Bubble (the same bubble bath I used when I was a young child). He loved it!!! He loves bath even with out bubbles. Every time I mention bath he points to the bath room door and says "baabaaa" He doesn't quite have the th down but I know what he means. Tonight he was a wild little man in the bath splashing around!

Super Bowl Sunday!!

We went over to Uncle Joe's for the game. Owain was loving all of the attention from everyone! Of course everyone fell in love with his smile and his big blue eyes.

He was so tuckered out that he fell asleep in Uncle Joe's lap and even stayed a sleep while everyone cheered when their was a touch down.

This morning after breakfast we loaded both boy's in to the car and headed to Great Grandma's house. After a week of Isaiah visiting it was time to drive him home. He was happy to be home and see his mom and great grandma.

Since tomorrow we will be driving big Cousin Isaiah back to Sweet Home we thought it would be fun to take the boy's to the Children museum. The boy's had a blast exploring the museum. When we got home they both napped! :-) We can't wait until our next trip to the museum!

Daddy took Owain to his 12 month well visit with his Dr.Howard. Dr.Howard is very pleased with his growth. He now weights 16lbs.12oz and his head is in the 80 percentile! Our little man has a big brain!

Isaiah helped me bake chocolate chip cookies.He named our cookies chocolate chip witch cookies. Owain supervised the baking while playing with a spatula sitting in his high chair.

When I woke up this morning I was surprised to see that it had snowed. So I bundled the boy's up and went for a little walk in the snow!

Today Owain turned one! His first year really has flew by! Owain had a great first birthday party. He really liked his duck birthday cake :-)

Today Grandma Outrageous and Great Grandma Judy came for a visit. They wanted to make sure to make it to Owain's first birthday party tomorrow. So they drove down from Washington today to get some extra time with you! You had a blast playing with Grandma Outrageous today. Owain really loves all of his Grandma's and they sure love him too!

Today Owain got a birthday package in the mail from his Aunt Erin. He loves his riding choo choo train. It is his new favorite toy!

What a day I will always remember! Today was the day that our 44th president Barrack Obama inauguration. Owain and I watched on T.V as we ate our scrambled eggs and banana pan cakes!What a day in history!

Owain spent the night at his Grandma's house. He loves his Grandma! While Owain was spending quality time with grandma we went out to a nice dinner and tried to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Today we went out to dinner as a family at our favorite Thai restaurant Typhoon. Daddy ordered the drunken noodles,I had yummy Pad Thai. Owain even got to try some plain sticky rice noodles. I think he liked them but he would get a little frustrated when they would stick to his fingers and he was unable to shake those darn noodle off. He even flirted with another baby eating at the table next to us. She was a cutie and only two days younger than Owain. Maybe they will meet again?

While daddy was at work we went to the Mall with our friends Megan,Cian and Whitney. Here is a picture of Whitney trying on a silly hat. I love the expression on Owain's face like "what is that thing on your head?"

Every two weeks daddy goes to the pharmacy to pick up Owain's prescription of penicillin. He has been on penicillin since he was two and half weeks old and until he is three or five this will be one of our daily routines making sure he gets his daily dose (twice). He is on penicillin after loosing his spleen during his first repair surgery.

Part of our bed time routine is bath time! Owain loves bath time. We sing,read books and do flash cards not to mention get nice and clean! If I let him Owain can spend at least an hour in the bath! His newest obsession is playing with the faucet and standing in the tub.

Look at our big boy holding his bottle all by himself! This is a big step for Owain. He doesn't have much interest in the bottle so when ever we give it to him he just wants to play with it. But today he decided he wanted to do it all by himself!Way to go Owain!!!

Date night! Tonight Eric and I went out on a date while Owain spent the evening with is Grandpa P and Cathy. We had a nice evening. We went to Edgefield for some yummy hamburger and fresh cut fries.Then we met up with some of our friends for drinks before we picked up our little man.

Today Owain had his very first Gyboree music class. He had so much fun the second we walked into the room he was all smiles.You would never know prior to walking in he was fast a sleep in the car. So for 45 minutes we rocked out to Quenn!

Owain playing his keyboard. He is our little music man. He doesn't go a day without playing now that he figured out where the on button is. He not only plays the keyboard but he sings too!

Today Owain discovered a new food combo that he enjoyed. Apple yogurt with peas. Interesting?
He would pick up a pea off of his tray and put in his yogurt container (mommy was holding). Then he would happily take a bite of the combo!

January 5After several weeks of vacation Cian is a back. Back to work (in my pjs at home) caring for Cian plus my little man. I think both boys missed each other they had a really good day!

For dinner we made yummy flat bread pizza with mushrooms,tomato,olives, and yellow peppers. It was heavenly!Day 7 January 3

We went out to lunch with Uncle Aaron, Grandpa P and Kathy before Uncle Aaron had to catch his flight back home to las Vegas. We had a fabulous time and Owian got to try coconut Ice cream for the first time. I think he loved it with every bite he grunted and quickly wanted another bite.

Happy New Year!To celebrate the New Year we went to PF Changes for lunch with Uncle Aaron,Uncle Ben and Aunt Kelcy. The highlight of the meal for Owain was trying some of mommy's egg drop soup. He loved it!! He also really enjoyed dropping everything he could reach(chopsticks,spoon,toy keys ect.) onto the floor. His new favorite game. :-)

New years Eve we went to Uncle Joe's and Uncle Barnes house for a fabulous turkey dinner. Owain partied like it was 1999! He had a blast hanging out on daddy's shoulders and eating some of the grub.

My favorite cookies of all time are No Bake Cookies! When I was a little girl my mom would make these for me and it was love with the first bite. Now that I am grown I make them but I have to be careful because with my sweet tooth I could easily eat the whole batch! Not kidding.

How to make the best cookies in the whole world..No Bakes
you will need...

1 cube of butter
3tbsp.Cocoa
2 cups of sugar
1 cup milk
1-2 tbsp peanut butter
1tsp. vanilla
oatmeal

Combine all ingredients except vanilla,oatmeal and peanut butter. Bring to soft ball stage. Then add vanilla,peanut butter and oatmeal until thick. Drop on greased cookie sheet or parchment paper (this is what I use) and let them cool as they cool they will harden.
